Zwischen OT74 Hanau und dem Partnertisch Warrington 41 Club, U.K., gibt es bereits seit neun Jahren die schoene Tradition, einmal im Jahr gemeinsam zu einer sogenannten Beertour aufzubrechen. Die Organisation der Tour wird abwechselnd von unseren Englischen Freunden und uns durchgefuehrt, so dass abwechselnd jeder Tisch die „biertechnisch“ kulinarischen Besonderheiten des jewiligen Landes, in der jeweiligen Region praesentieren kann.

In der Vergangenheit wurden in Deutschland mehrfach das Frankenland besucht, in England der Bereich in und um Liverpool, der Lake Distrikt sowie in 2006 eine gemeinsame Reise mit Frauen in die Champagne unternommen. In diesem Jahr sind wir Hanauer wieder als Gastgeber gefordert und die Wahl viel auf eine gemischte Bier & Kultour ins Berchtesgadener Land.

Pick up at Munich Airport and trip to the Hotel Königsee where we stay all nights. 

Enziandistillery Grassl   / time to relax - drink Enzian
The oldest Enziandistillery Germanys !
The world well known Gebirgsenzian was first distilled in 1602 in Berchtesgaden. Today they produce more than 30 different herbs and fruit licours.
A further highlight is “The Brennhüttenmuseum in an old  Almkaser (cheese manufactory),  In summer season you may test the the well known Kallbrunner-Almkas, a very strong cheese and other Berchtesgadener Schmankerln (delicious products).

Saturday :

Königssee and St. Bartholomä Surrounded by the highest Rocks the most beautiful smaragd coloured Lake is situated midst of the most beautiful mountain area of the Alps. The Königssee is eight kilometer long (like a Fjord) and up to 1.2 Kilometer broad, and has an elevation above sea level of 602 m. With a depth of 192 Metern the water is very cold even in summertime. The Königssee-Fleet invites you to a very extraordinary adventure, which you will never forget. If there is enough time left, we will visit the famous Mountain “Jenner” by Cablecar up to 1.874 m.
The Jennerbahn at Königssee in Berchtesgadener Land lifts you up to the top of our 1874 m high Rock Jenner. From there you can see the “Watzmann East” and the Königssee (Kingslake). At the Top Station you can sit at the Restaurant and look over the Alps. This was the Aerea of the famous Poacher Jennerwein, who shot many many capricorns to help the poor people in this Area to survive.
